Due anni dopo il positivo esordio con “Trane’s groove” tornano (sull’onda emotiva dell’amore coltraniano) la grinta e la passionalità della giovane contraltista, sopranista e compositrice. A proprio agio sia nelle ballad romantiche sia in un post bop focoso su tempi veloci, la sassofonista trova nel pianista Alessandro La Corte una compagnia ideale per dialogare ed improvvisare, senza nulla togliere al valente affiatamento ritmico di Vigorito e Fasano. Two years after the positive debut with “Trane’s groove” the energy and passion of the young alto and sopranino saxophonist and composer are back (following the emotional tide of her love for Coltrane). Feeling at ease both in the romantic ballads and in the hot post bop with its fast time, the saxophonist finds in the pianist Alessandro La Corte an ideal partner to dialogue and improvise with, without minimising the clever rhythmic harmony between Vigorito and Fasano. “Far Away”(with the introduction of the Berlin “Cheek to Cheek”) is a particularly good work, for the poetic synthesis of the quartet, with its brightening colours and very neat tinges…
